Privacy Policy Statement & General Disclaimers

Worldwide Forensic Services Inc. (“WWFS”) recognizes the importance of privacy and security of personal information. The “Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act” and the “Canadian Standards Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information” require all businesses engaged in commercial activity to comply with the act and the code.

WWFS collects and discloses fingerprints and the other personal information by lawful and fair means that are not reasonably intrusive. This information is collected and disclosed in order to facilitate the processing of criminal history searches. We have prepares this privacy policy statement to describe the mode in which WWFS collects, uses and discloses personal information.

We may also record the information collected from the identification document(s) voluntarily presented by the applicant for identity verification.

2. Purpose for collection of personal information:

We collect your personal information for the purpose of submitting it to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (“RCMP”), the other law enforcement authorities, and/or their designated agents to enable them to conduct criminal history searches. By providing personal information for the purpose of obtaining criminal record search either by fingerprints of simply by name search, you have automatically given consent to WWFS to use that information for the purpose stated within that request.

  • When doing so would prejudice negotiation with you
